Sponge Filtration: Sponge filters provide both mechanical and biological filtration. The air injection chamber creates tiny air bubbles that facilitate the gas exchange process and increase dissolved oxygen levels in the aquarium. Keep your fish tank crystal clear.
- Quiet and Ventilated: The bio-sponge filter is aerodynamic and won't disturb your daily life. Press the sponge into the sink, absorb enough water to make it sink to the bottom, it reduces the noise of the air pump, and consumes a small power fit.
- Easy To Clean: The filter can be easily removed to clean dirt, just remove the sponge and put it in a bucket filled with tank water, rinse with aquarium water every 2 -4 weeks, then reinstall. Avoid washing with tap water!
- Suitable Species: Ideal for small fish such as dwarf cichlids, guppies, killifish, etc.; or for spawning and fry ponds, since the filter generates very little current, it is almost impossible to suck fish/shrimp through the filter. (not including air pump)
